… So, who’s in Zanzibar right now? Good season is on again, and the island is becoming more alive day by day. If you are in the right mood for discoveries, don’t miss these days’ event.
We’re talking about the “Zanzibar International Film Festival”, started last week-end and going on up to Sunday, July 15th.
ZIFF is the largest film, music and art festival in East Africa. Every year, it brings on stage the best of African cinema, but also live music, dance and DJs performances. A not-to-be-missed event, promoting local talents and creativity.
Main location of the event is the Old Fort in Stone Town. Its amphitheatre is hosting most of the movie screenings, and other cultural presentations. Music and dance shows will take place at the Mambo Club. Other performances are planned in locations around Stone Town.
On the closing evening, the Awards Ceremony and a number of African artists performing live.
